One last look at the finished J1 stained glass transom from the West Block before it is crated up to await installation on site. This arched window went through a massive restoration process at Northern Art Glass. Over 50 piece of glass were repainted to match the original damaged panes before the panel could be reassembled. It looks pretty good for a circa 1870 stained glass window. The J1 door and frame are currently undergoing a full refurbishing treatment by another heritage contractor before the completed entryway can once again shine on Parliament Hill.
