After more than five years of neglect, Northern Art Glass was able to access Trinity Anglican Church in Brockville to remove a treasure trove of stained glass windows ahead of the bulldozers. Home to roosting pigeons and bats, the derelict church owned by a developer, required an environmental clean-up just to enter the building. Our removal team still required full hazmat gear for safe working conditions even in 30+ degree weather. Scaffolding was needed to access 16 foot high stained glass windows. Ten windows were documented with sizes, photographs and templates before being crated and transported to storage at St. Lawrence Anglican. Many of the windows will be resurrected in the future to serve this congregation which is made up of many members who formerly worshipped at Trinity Anglican.
